Wednesday Sessions

  • 9:00-11:30 a.m.: Multistate Partnership ARMAR Foot and Mouth Tabletop Exercise
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.: Lunch & Learn
  • Sessions start at 12:15
  • Finish by 5:00 p.m.

Thursday Sessions

  • Rolls and coffee after 8:00 a.m.
  • Sessions start at 9:00am
  • Lunch provided

*Note: Our Friday morning schedule is fluid – if a speaker doesn’t take their entire time, we will move right into the next session to try to get everyone out early.



Registration is now OPEN for the 2018 U of O Emergency Management Conference! Important dates and information:

  • The deadline to register is April 30, 2018.
  • The last day to cancel your registration for a full refund is April 30, 2018.
  • Local (County) Emergency Management Coordinators in Iowa only: If you want Homeland Security Grant reimbursement for conference registration, you MUST register by April 15, 2018.
  • The cost for this year remains at $125.00 per person. (If you pay via credit card/PayPal, we will add $5 for processing.)
  • Checks should be made payable to Iowa Emergency Management Association.
  • Please mail your registration payment directly to Dickinson County Emergency Management (complete address is on the invoice).
  • If you need an invoice for the conference, it can be downloaded at
